Parts of an old book entitled "Jurgen, A Comedy of Justice", by James Branch Cabell found lying in scattered pages throughout the reading room of the Old Almshouse. It is curious that such a book of fantasy based writing appears in such a place.
The book was first published in 1919. Cabell termed his writing creations as "dynamic illusions". This particular writing by Cabell, translates his otherworldly encounters of ghostly, mythical and historical journeys into verse.
