Old Almshouse-Coal Shovel
Well worn and well used the old coal//ash shovel sits idle in the corner of one of the main floor rooms in the poorhouse. How many hands had worked this shovel for how many years is a question that arises. The shovel in decay takes with it any warmth that may have been provided, plunging the history of this building into to pure cold and dank memories.
